Review: Pulse Slither

I asked my 15 year old son to write the following review, since he’s the Slither rider at our house:

Pulse Slither

“The thing that sets the Pulse Slither apart from other scooters is the way the back wheel rotates from side to side.  The wheel is different from any other scooter wheel because it is mounted on a swivel (like you would find on a shopping cart) and it is attached to a spring.  This allows the user to whip around corners and slide almost sideways downhill.

“Another important difference between the Slither and the myriad of other scooters in the world is the two wheels in front.  Not only do these wheels make it look very cool but they also add a lot to the scooter’s stability.  As far as falling over goes, the Slither is actually more stable than your average scooter, provided you are riding slowly and not doing something silly like stepping on the front wheels (yes, I know from experience).

“My only real complaint is that the handlebars could be a little bit higher or at least adjustable.  That’s the only bad thing about it I can think of, because really it is a very fun scooter and it is easily the coolest scooter I have ever used.    4.9 out of 5 stars.”

Note: The scooter is rated up to 180 pounds, but most likely would work best for someone shorter than my 5 foot 11 son.  We were given a Slither for free, but did not receive any other compensation for this review.

Well written young man. So glad your ‘experience’ didn’t land you any broken bones!
