Giveaway: The Mommy Hook
Today I’m giving away a fun gadget called the Mommy Hook. This sturdy clip is designed to hook your bags or purse onto any stroller or shopping cart, freeing up your hands for more important things. If you’d like to win a Mommy Hook of your own, comment below and tell me when you’re most likely to wish for another hand or two. My kids are bigger, so I’m not juggling a diaper bag and a stroller anymore. But I still have moments toting groceries into the house– loading myself with plastic sacks only to arrive in the kitchen with red marks all over both arms. (Is it only me that does that and then wonders how that was better than making one more trip?)
I’ll be announcing the winner of this giveaway on Tuesday! Happy weekend!

Definitely when I’m cooking dinner or hauling in groceries (and toting the one year old while being 7 months pregnant)!
I think heading out to church. My husband goes early, so I have the three-year-old and the 16-month-old and my pregnant self along with all our stuff. It usually takes me two trips to get us all out there.
Probably when juggling toddler and groceries while shopping.
Hauling in groceries–I do the same thing as you do–loading myself with as many bags as possible!
When I am taking the food into church for 40 teenagers every Sunday! My husband has to work most Sundays and I do all the food for out youth fellowship time. And most of the time I am trying to get through all the people standing talking before church starts without dropping something or everything! LOL!
Definitely when I am hauling in bags of groceries and trying to do it in as few trips as possible.
would love one since we don’t get plastic at store we use the canvas bags. especially when grandkids are with me and we need the seat for them to be able to hang on cart would be wonderful
Would love one when I’m trying to haul in all my stuff and Sam’s from the car.
I don’t have toddlers anymore either but boy would it be handy for carrying in groceries for my family of 4 sons who eat me out of house and home on a daily basis!
We have 7 kids, 2 of whom are wheelchair dependent. I would use the hook on the back of their chair to carry their supply bags. Its a great idea!
I would love this. I have twins and the only carts that the grocery store has that fits both of them has a small grocery area. It would be so helpful to have my bag and my reusable bags out of the way.
Oh man, definitely need one of these for many occasions – shopping trips, hauling church bags, library book bags – it would get a lot of use!
Definitely hauling in groceries!
Definitely when coming out of the grocery store!
Well, I would have to be honest and say I am hoping to win a “Daddy Hook” for the DH. He does everything around here for everyone, and this would be a huge help when hauling stuff in from the store and other various errands he runs for me. I showed it to him and he said, “Now THAT is a great idea someone had.”
When I gather wood.
There are many times when I have both granddaughters that it would come in handy.
My hubby bought me one of these a few years ago and I love it. If I win this, I’m giving it to my sister. I use it all the time – even when I’m out by myself doing shopping at various stores at the mall.
I’d use it everytime I make the mistake of taking too long grocery shopping and my little guy has missed naptime. It never fails that he will fall alseep in the car and needs to be carried in along with the groceries.
Groceries + toddler who either wants to be carried or run. Nuff said.
I’d use this at the grocery store. A newborn and a twenty month old don’t leave free hands!
I have four children ages 5, 3, 1 and 6 months. I would definitely love this for those “quick” trips into the grocery store but even more for when we travel from our home in PA to OR. This would work just so wonderfully in the airport to hold all those extra little bags!!!
What a great little gadget! I definitely could use one when going in and out of stores. I can think of multiple uses…
Always when I’m bringing the groceries in to the house! Putting them in the car is no problem, but I hate making multiple trips in and out!

I could use some more arms when I’m toting my guitar, music binder, purse, and probably something belonging to one of my boys into church! Haha!
I would use it to haul in groceries and shop at the farmer’s market.
A few extra hands to wash all the dirty dishes I have right now would be nice. My dishwasher has been out of service for over a month and I am still waiting for my new one to be installed. Thanks for the giveaway.
I need more hands all of the time now! I added 5 children to my bio four this year, one another bio newborn and four sibs from EThiopia. I have all of the baby paraphenalia and tons of groceries to cart around. So worth it!!! But really challenging in parking lots!
grocery shopping ALL THE WAY. I always need ever last inch in my cart.
Oh I could really use that this summer. We live within walking distance to the beach, so we walk but that means too much stuff to carry. I could hook it to the stroller to help carry stuff. I have three kids and will have a 4th in June, so beach days are going to be crazy, and any help I can get would be awesome!
All the time – Grocery Shopping, bringing in Grocery (got to love those red marks), cooking.
I have 5 kids, that are ages 11 to 2. I can always use an extra hand!
I need an extra hand to keep up with all the stuff that my youngest daughter hands me to carry when I’ve already got my hands full.
Oh, what a good idea! Definitely for bringing in groceries and diaper bags or for walking home from the library with bags of books.
We like to walk around the block with our stroller and for library lunch story time- they’re great for coolers, grocery bags, library books, garage sale finds-hard to beat those city wide garage sales=)
I would use it to clip my bags/purse to the grocery cart and stroller since the cart is always full of kids!
Grocery shopping for sure! It really looks like a very cool tool!
Um, does “all the time” count?
Our kids hold on to my clothes or the shopping cart when we’re out, however, an extra “hand” at the ready would be amazing! There’s always something (or someone!) to be carried or tended to.
Thank you for the opportunity!
When I’m out with the kids–age 5, 4, and 1. This would help a lot!
Ooh! I saw this recently and put it on my baby registry … it would be nice to win it though! I’m forever trying to hold as many bags on my arm as possible NOW… i can only imagine what it will be like when baby comes!
trying to carry an infant, hang on to a special needs teen, carry groceries & keep the other kids rounded up at the same time….
with hand/wrist issues carrying multiple bags is sometimes a problem… this looks like a great way to combine them all together and use my good arm to carry with.
Most definitely when I’m carrying in groceries. I have severe psoriatic arthritis and right now it is attacking my hands. This would be such a big help! I even have one saved on Pinterest…just hadnt bought one yet. Thanks for the chance to win!
I think this would be really handy when running my errands with my 6 kids. I for see keeping the gym bag, diaper bag, and wallet together. I keep two laundry baskets in the back of my van to put purchases in to carry into the house. No red marks, but on a busy day it does require a second trip.
Getting on the bus, dealing with the stroller and the diaper bag despite having the baby in the wrap. I’m not so sure a hook would help there, though.
Going into home school co-op, there seem to be so many bags – mine, baby’s, class supplies, kid’s backpacks, potentially lunch or snack bag and then a drink to carry, oh the baby too. Whew! ; )
This would really come in handy to carry all the things I need to go anywhere with my 2 months old and 18 months old.
We live in a 2nd floor condominium and it would really come in handy when I have to carry my 16 month old on 1 hip, manueveur all the grocery bags with the other, all the while keeping an eye on my 5 year old AND opening the house door!
This would be so handy for me…groceries, backpacks, purse, wayward children by their belt buckles…
Lugging groceries in – I carry as many bags as possible at one time and this looks like it would make it less painful.
