Easy Valentine table

Wishing for a sweet way to decorate the table for our daughter’s birthday and Valentine’s Day, I put 88-cent candles into vases that I already owned with a dab of hot glue at the base of each candle for stability. I poured in a combination of candy hearts and mini marshmallows. The table runner was a $2 scrap of clearance fabric at Wal-Mart that took ten minutes to iron and hem. Sweet fun.

So cute! Love it!
What a wonderful idea! Happy Birthday to your daughter and Happy Valentine’s Day!
Oh, that is lovely! You always share the most clever ideas!
I got a bunch of really tall extra-skinny red candles for ten cents apiece at a thrift store. No candleholders small enough to hold them. . . I’m TOTALLY doing this! Thanks, Mary!
Love your table decorations!
CUTE!
Love it! Very clever.
What a pretty and simple idea! I think I might try this minus the candles with a collection of bud vases I have.
Oh, and I just started reading your blog. Lots of great ideas. I cannot wait to try the 21 questions to ask your kid. So doing that tonight!
I did something very similar here:http://waldenbunch.blogspot.com/2012/01/valentine-tablescape.html Yours looks great!
