The original words (By my friend John Mark) were “Heaven meets Earth in a sloppy wet kiss”. Deemed too controversial by DCB’s label. JM approved the change but still sings it his way when he does the song.
But it reminds me of being a mom, getting those drooly baby kisses, sticky toddler kisses that seem a little gross to an outsider but keep a mom going.
