Totally fun links

  • 30-Second skirt — all this takes is an old t-shirt and a few seconds (OK, maybe 5 minutes) of sewing.  And it has POCKETS.   I’m totally totally trying this.  Maybe even 3 or 7 times.
  • Easy kids weaving craft — all this takes is a paper plate, a big needle, and some yarn.  CUTE.  My little girls are totally doing this.  Maybe today.
  • Yummy 3-ingredient raspberry gratin – Sour cream, raspberries, brown sugar.  Oh my gracious this sounds yummy.  I’m totally trying it.
  • Homeschool momma panic — I’ve already tried this.  I’m over it.  But I totally respect your right to go there.   :)

Ok I think the skirt is for someone without ample hips etc. BUT it is adorable – great idea and about to be made for a couple of college bound cuties in my circle of friends!

I’d never considered the words “raspberry” and “gratin” together but it sure sounds tasty.

Thanks for linking to me, because that’s how I found about the ingenious skirt idea. Has anyone tried it yet? I can’t wait to see how it works out!
The weaving project looks interesting too, and we have plenty of yarn and paper plates. Maybe tomorrow, when I’ll have a shortage of big people. T’will be a good way to keep smaller hands busy and out of trouble.

Wow, blast from the past…I used to do the shirt/skirt trick back in high school, over 20 years ago. It works great!
