I’m thinking of making a batch or two of homemade ice cream for the 4th of July and came across these yummy-looking candidates:
What’s your favorite ice cream? Got a good recipe?
My favorite it vanilla with my dad’s homemade chocolate syrup! This one is pretty close: http://www.recipezaar.com/recipe/Chocolate-Syrup-22877
I love Ice cream and really don’t have many I don’t like, but I think that peanut better and chocolate is my all time fave…
I really love the book Serendipity Sundaes…I checked this out about 5 times from the Library and FINALLY ordered it for my own, but there are recipes for Ice Cream, sauces and different drinks and such. Although I had never heard of it before I found the book at the Lib., I guess they are pretty famous in New York, especially for the Frozen Hot CHocolate, which is in the book!
The salted butter caramel sounds REALLY GOOD~ Enjoy!

Don’t spend another minute trying to figure out which one to make. Make them all!!!!!!!
What a great idea! I remember we made it once or twice when I was very young and loved it. When I saw the post, I thought next year I want to do this with my kids! I should have them by next year since I am looking at older children. This would make a great tradition!
We love pineapple sherbet. I have a super easy recipe that uses buttermilk and pineapple canned in heavy syrup. Super cold for hot weather and light and delicious!
YUM! Peach sounds delicious.
I think Salted Buttered Caramel is the most ORIGINAL one! Go for that one! Or perhaps Peach because it’s screams SUMMER!
Have fun!
Mmm…Diaper Diaries shared this one:

The Salted Butter Caramel was wonderful.
It is my new favorite ice cream. Thanks for the link.
