Thanks for reminding us all! We are giving to Convoy of Hope, an organization who has had a long standing relationship with Haiti, was there when the earthquake happened (stocking their warehouse with food and water – praise God for provision!), and has so far given out over 300,000 meals! http://www.convoyofhope.org
One EASY way I’m remember to give is by foregoing snacks at the Superbowl, and asking everyone else to join me. If we each didn’t buy anything extra for that game, and instead gave the money to an organization of our choice, how much of a difference would that make!? It is a simple endeavor, a facebook event, basically, but I’d love to hear from anyone else who decides to participate… Here is a link to the event (it is open, so anyone can join): http://tinyurl.com/superbowlsupergoal
