So glad I found you and having fun visiting you! Thanks for linking to me
ok. i cannot seem to find a contact email for you. so, i’ll just tell you right here.
I’m SOOO excited for you! **and me** ;o) Here’s why:
Early in the month I entered your two little giveaway thingys once of which asked me to contact my loverly little library across the street from my house about your book. And I did that. Cuz I said I would. And I did.
Fast-forward two weeks: I went to my library to request a quilting book through interlibrary loan. And I’ve been waiting on pins and needles ever since.
Here we are at TODAY. ;o) I walk over to get a video. I’m at the ‘check out’ and my friendly friend says, “Oh. Your TWO books are here.”
Me: Yay! But did you say two?
She: Yes. Modern Quilt Workshop and Family Feasts for $75 a Week.
Me: Realllleeeee? Both? (Jumped up and down for a split second until I realized I was in the library and am supposed to be quiet.) Realllleeee? You ordered a BRAND NEW BOOK for ME!? One that I asked you to purchase????
She: Yes. We did.
So. Congratulations! Our library bought your book! YAY. I hope that totally makes your day as much as it has made mine. I don’t know about you, but if I were an authoress, each time someone bought one of my books I’d want to hug them and jump up and down a bit, and say, “Oooh, thankyouthankyouthankyou!”
but that’s me.
Happy Thursday.
Oh thank you for the latte link…added to my own blog…it’s amazing!!!
PS do you have any great crockpot recipes you make that your kids actually eat? I’d love to know as my kids are PICKY!
Thanks for the linky love!
I just wanted you to know that this post deeply moved me. All of these links touched me in many ways. May God bless all of you (you and your family and the bloggers/commenters at the links).
