October Family Feasts Giveaway

—FAMILY FEASTS GIVEAWAY NOW CLOSED. THANKS, EVERYONE!—

I’m excited to tell you about two giveaways I’m doing this month. The first one is a Cheer laundry detergent giveaway! Who couldn’t use free laundry soap? Click on over there and tell me how you brighten the lives of the people around you, and you’ll be eligible to win a free bottle of Cheer.

(NOTE: If you commented on the Cheer giveaway in the early hours of Monday, you might need to go back and comment again. I made an error and had to delete the first post and repost it in a different location on my blog. Sorry!)

The second giveaway is fun too! I’m giving away three sets of THREE copies each of my book Family Feasts for $75 a Week. Be one of the three winners of this giveaway, and you’ll have a copy of the cookbook for yourself, PLUS two copies to give away to friends. (Christmas gifts, maybe???)

You can get up to 5 entries to the Family Feasts giveaway by doing any of the following  5 things:

1. Blog about the contest and share a direct link to your post in comments.

2. Twitter about it, and share a link to your twitter in comments.

3. Request that your local library purchase FAMILY FEASTS, and tell me which library it is.

4. If you’ve already read FAMILY FEASTS, post a review of the book on amazon.com or bn.com.

5. Mention the contest on your Facebook page.

I’ll be picking 3 winners using random.org.  Be sure to comment using a valid email address.  The contest ends Monday morning, October 26th!  I hope to hear from lots of you!

    I just wrote about your giveaway on my facebook page. I read an article that you wrote in All You Magazine. It mentioned your book. I looked at the Nashville Public Library (Nashville, Tennessee) website and it is on order. Although I would like to check it out in an effort to save money, I would love to have my own copy. I read some of the page entries on Amazon. I look forward to reading more.

    Okay, I requested that my library buy your book. (Bayfield, WI public library) I would love to win your book, since I can’t afford it right now. Although our total food budget, including dog and cat and household supplies, is already squeezed down to $60-70 per week for the four of us (2 adults, 2 teens), I know I could find even more ways to cut it down in your book. My goal is to get it down another $30 per month so I can afford to have the crazy horses feet clipped and have the septic tank pumped on time! Oh, what goals we have in life!!

    I would so like to have a chance to read your cookbook. Unfortunately, not one library in our entire system locally has the book yet. So I’ve utilized the “Suggest a Purchase” option on the library website (CLAMS, which is the Cape Cod, MA system) to hopefully get your book out there and available to those of us forever trying to find new ways to tweak the family food budget.
