This week in numbers

August 18, 2009

1- The number of boxes of Kleenex I’ve used in the last 2 days (a cold? allergies? I dunno, but it is making me cranky.)

2- The number of hours I spent printing and matting pictures and filling out entry forms for kids’ fair entries today.

3- The number of eggs we got from our chickens this week (yeah, they’re laying!)

5-The total number of yolks in those 3 eggs (overachievers!)

12- The number of dollars we spent to take 6 kids to go see ‘Up’ this evening.

15- The number of tiny 1-inch chlorine tabs my hubby put into the pool today to keep the water that pretty blue. (I accidentally bought teeny tabs instead of big ones.)

21- The number of dollars we spent for burgers before the cheap movie and after dropping entries off at the fair today

100+ The number of miles I drove today

And now. Bed. More coherent words another day.

What did you think of “Up”? We saw it and really enjoyed it. I thought the theme (the full scrapbook) was a super reminder to parents especially!

Fun post – although I’d love to find a theater where my hubby and I could go to a movie that cheap!

Just wanted to thank you for all you’ve written. I’m so enjoying going through your previous posts. We are new to the large family arena. We went from a family of 4 this past January to a family of 13. I am truly taking notes from you! Thanks so much!!!

4H fair? ours is this week too. I love the fair! I love that my kids love the fair. we missed the entries because I didn’t understand the importance of the Record Book. Next year, we’ll be ready to win ribbons.

And yay for the chickens! My husband got his picture taken with our first egg, both in the shell and on the plate, lol! :)
