My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this movie too, and isn’t it refreshing to see a movie where love and enjoyment of a couple for each other is between MARRIED people.Enjoy your blog.

Looking forward to the grocery challenge!

And I LOVED Julie & Julia. I went to see it with one of my best friends (a pseudo-foodie like me). It left me feeling inspired to try Mastering the Art of French Cooking myself! Not sure if I’ve the courage, though! LOL

LOVED Julie & Julia. In my mind, the only inappropriate thing for kids is Julia’s comment about a hot cannelloni noodle. (!) There is mild allusion to the characters’ sex lives–but in the context of loving marriages, which is something I think kids need to see more of.

Oh I’m looking forward to the grocery challenge! Last year I cut my groceries by 75% and with the Lord help have stuck to it, not always easy and it does mean sacrifice at times, but it means I can give more and save to adopt so it is worth it! Mind you my savings to adopt are like a boat moving at a snails pace!

I finished your book and it is wonderful, it really challenged me which is a good thing! I’ll write about it on my site soon.

Looking forward to the spending challenge…I am currently doing about $70-$100/week for three people (the baby is still breastfeeding), and I know I’m going to have to start figuring out a more economic system if I’m going to be feeding a larger family some day (as I hope to). But, it’s really hard! Maybe food here in the Seattle area just costs more. Sometimes I think it does. I’ll be looking forward to any tips you’ve got.

Ohhh, I can’t wait to see Julie & Julia! I think I”ll surprise my hubby and take him soon. (He loves to cook and grew up watching Julia Child…)

As for the grocery spending challenge, I might just be in! I will soon be starting to closely watch spending again, using coupons again, and only cash again. Perfect timing!
