Private skating rink

The kids and I spent some time cleaning the garage this morning, including making the skate shelf look how it is supposed to look, instead of the more common helter-skelter chaos. I’ve come to the conclusion that we might possibly have every size of kids’ skate up to men’s size 11.

I love the photo! It’s a neat pattern picture. My high scho photography teacher would have been impressed (probably my college prof, too, if id taken photo in college :)

My brand new 8-year-old was gift a pair of roller blades for her birthday on Monday. She is so proud. I’ve been longing for a pair for myself for years now. I was thinking of going to Target tomorrow to look for a pair so I could skate with her.

Looks like it might be easier to come to your place. ;-)

Before I knew what I was looking at, I thought that was a row of ethnic sculptures. Can you see the noses and mouths on them all?

Wow Bea! You’ve got quite the eye for shape–once you mentioned it, I did see those faces!

My girls too just got some roller skates–the kind that go over your shoes. They are very slow-going, but that’s fine because my eldest would be terrified if they went fast! my youngest, of course, thinks that they need to go faster. :-)
