Not arrogant from Jesus. Arrogant from anyone else, especially those who use it in a “You’re-going-to-hell-and-I’m-not” way, and especially done so on trivial things.
Nobody burns in hell for understanding evolution and treating diabetes. And if it had been an atheist who devised the treatment and saved 50 million lives, do you think for a moment Jesus would say “nope, can’t come in, didn’t come by me?”
