To celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary, my husband and I paid $45 a ticket to see Alison Krauss and Union Station in concert.
She sang this song last, then _Goodbye is all we Have_ as the encore. Both are songs from the _Lonely Runs Both Ways_ album/ cd, which I purchased the very next day.
For this performance, it seems a bit off-putting to me that she is wearing a sleeveless, low-cut cocktail dress to sing the prayer, but I still have the memory of that evening seeing them on stage.

What a wonderful song. I hadn’t heard that before. We saw Alison Kraus in concert a few years back. She was so good. And she’s just a little thing.
