Happy thoughts

-That my daughter is blissful with her new hubby.
-That the cover art on my next book is cute, cute, cute! (Sorry, you’ll have to wait a bit to see it..)
-That the insurance company is paying for a good chunk of our bathroom flood repair
-That my sweet hubby didn’t say ONE CROSS WORD to me when I flooded said bathroom. Bless the man.
-That it is getting closer to spring.
-That in any given moment, at least 7 of my 10 kids are not mad at me.
-That God loves me, no matter what.

Anyone else want to share their happy thoughts?
-That I’m actually moving tomorrow into my own place, for the first time in 6 months I’ll have a home, and that I have water and elec even if they didn’t deliver the beds as promised and I have no other furniture.
-that my twins (it’s their bday tomorrow) are such great kids! I’m so thankful for them
That I have a really great family. That God has blessed me with a wonderful job and an amazing group of friends. My daughter will be home in 3 weeks and just like you, that God loves ME, no matter what!!
that I have a warm house on a cold wet day. That my dear wonderful husband is fixing my car seat warmers (I hope ) and the broken light fixture, as I type! That I get to go on a date with him tonight. That my toddler loves to sing, loudly, often w/ a little wiggle dance in the sheer happiness of it for him, which makes me happy too.
*Grace*. I’ve been clinging to this today: “Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God.”

I did my list today!
That even when my homemade pizza ends up on the floor before it can make it into the oven, and my meringues fall flat and instead glue the baking paper to the pan, I can still laugh about the situation and pick up the phone for take out
That after a two year adoption process, we’re going to Haiti to BRING OUR SON HOME! That’s my super-duper-extra-happy thought! Praise the Lord!
