I have to share that the photos bring back such happy crazy memories of our own wedding just 8.5 short years ago. We, too, did almost everything ourselves. My mother and I made lasagna to feed 100, marinated chicken breasts to feed 100 more, my bridesmaids and I made our bouquets, my godmother and I made my dress and veil, my entire wedding party and extended family gathered the day before to help decorate the reception hall….the whole day felt like one giant celebration made by our full extended families. Every bite, every candle, every folded napkin was the direct result of someone that loved us. It may not have been as polished and posh as other weddings but it was incredibly meaningful and wonderful. I wish the same for Amanda and Ben.
