Thank-you!!!
I’ve been saving orange peels this week because I wanted to make this. But I hadn’t gotten around to looking up a recipe yet.
Do you think it would taste good if I added cloves, cinnamon and brandy to the water?
Oh, those look so yummy! Add that to my list of things to try… someday
.
Yum, My grandma used to make those.
I wonder if this would taste good with lemons? I have tons of those!!!
I made some with limes too, actually. not as sweet, but good!
I made these this weekend, too! Last year I tried it with Grapefruit skins (without chocolate) and they were delicious, very tart and sweet. Great with lemon, too.
I’ve never tried adding spices to the blanching water… the blanching is more to draw the bitterness out of the white pith than to add flavor. But now I’m curious!
This seems like a yummy way to utilize all the orange! Never seen this before! I always feel so bad throwing out rinds…can’t compost them….
it’s almost eerie to see this, because I’ve been thinking of adding this to my baking list for the year! how exciting.
These would be a pretty decoration for a cake or a tasty treat!
Oh, what a delicious-looking recipe! I may have to get some oranges at the store this week…
Wow, I’ve never heard of “candying” orange peels before, but how can you go wrong with the flavors of orange and chocolate? Mmm….
mmm…, love candied orange peels, I’m thinking I might need to make some of these this Christmas
This is a new one for me…Sounds yummy!
I am sp glad to run across your blog and this ! I have been saving peels all wekk. I was going to put them in bottle of vinegar for cleaning products but this would be much more nicer !
I made these today! SCRUMPTIOUS!!! I cant wait to give them to my sister on Christmas. She absolutely loves chocolate and orange together. Thanks much!
Oh yum! We are sooo going to make this tomorrow.
Thanks for the recipe!
