With the impending busy-ness….

August 2, 2007

…of traveling to bring home our girls in August, posting here may be a little spotty during the first half of the month. However, I am planning to post travel updates and stories over on my Ethiopian Adoption Blog if time — and tetchy Ethiopian phone lines– allow it. So if you want the latest news from the Owlhaven, that’s where to go! You can even subscribe to the feed over there so you’ll remember to check it!

If you are so inclined, I would very much appreciate prayer over the next few weeks– for our family while we are apart from each other, for our loved ones who are watching our children at home, for financial providence, for traveling safety, for safety at home, and for our new daughters to have open, accepting and peaceful hearts during this time of enormous transition in their lives.

I will definitely be thinking of you Mary! I respect that you are preparing for the worst but I know your family and the girls will do so well.

I think it is wonderful that you are adopting 2 more! My daughter just returned from Kenya and, unfortunately it is difficult to adopt from that country. There are a couple from the orphanage that she was in that I would bring home in the blink of an eye if I could!
