This afternoon the two year old, usually a cheery soul, woke from her nap wailing. My four year old came in the bedroom with me to console little sis, but nothing was working. Off ran the four year old to the kitchen for a bottle. We snuggled in bed with her while she sucked away, and soon she was feeling better. Pretty soon the four year old began playing with the bottle while it was still attached firmly to her sister’s lips. The two year old put up with it good naturedly.

Wiggle, wiggle, back and forth. Suddenly the four year old burst out laughing. “Look, Mommy! Her lips are dancing!”
