Great meal to come home to…
We got home just in time. The tomatoes are on. The corn is on. The cukes are on. For dinner this evening we had corn in the cob, cucumbers with Asian vinagerette dressing, and our favorite: thick slabs of tomato and melted cheese on toasted bread brushed with a dab of olive oil. Yum. It’s great to be home!

The dressing is 1/4 c. vinegar, 1/4 c. sugar, 2 T. sesame oil, 1 T. soy sauce, 1 clove garlic, and a small sprinkle of red pepper. it is similar to what you’ll find in Korean cooking..
